The Art of Voice Acting 8-Week Workshop meets one evening a week for 8 weeks. A check, money order, credit card, or PayPal.com payment is required to guarantee your seat for any workshop or seminar. Directions are provided to registered students with registration confirmation. Dates are subject to change without notice. Please call to confirm workshop and seminar dates BEFORE registering.
Weekend Workshops generally run from 10am-5pm on Friday and Saturday, and 10am-4pm on Sunday. Some sponsored or out-of-town Weekend Workshops will be slightly shorter with only Saturday and Sunday workshop days.
All of our scheduled events are on this page. Travel and accommodations are not included. Some workshops have a required text book, or other materials in addition to the workshop tuition.

The VoiceOver International Creative Experience (VOICE 2008)
VOICE 2008 is scheduled for August 8-11, 2008 at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza in Los Angeles. (Special “Red Carpet Reception,” Thursday evening 8/7/08). AOVA Workshop Grads receive a $50 discount.

San Diego Art of Voice Acting Weekend Workshop (register here):
Our San Diego Weekend Workshop is a condensed version of our 8-Week Workshop. All voiceover performance and business fundamentals are covered and there’s plenty of on-mic coaching.
Class is held 10am-5pm on a Saturday & Sunday.
Tuition: $597 plus $10 for lunch or bring your own. The Art of Voice Acting, third edition is a required text for this class. Complete workshop notes provided.

The Art of Voice Acting Tele-course Level 1 (register here):
All classes start at 5pm and last between 1 hour and 90 minutes.
You will be given a special conference center phone number for this course.
Tuition: $597. The Art of Voice Acting, third edition is highly recommended for this class.

All classes held in San Diego 10am—5pm on a Saturday or Saturday & Sunday
Tuition: TBA, depending on the workshop. AOVA workshop Graduates receive a 20% discount off the posted tuition.
TBA - "The Business of Voiceover: Preparing for Your VO Demo, Marketing, and Promotion"- Penny Abshire; and "Building Your Home Studio" - James Alburger (this is a full-day workshop that includes both programs)
TBA - Home Studio 2-day intensive. This is a two day, hands-on workshop designed to provide a thorough understanding of the technology for recording. Students will learn how to purchase, set-up and use equipment and software for their home studio as well as how to prepare and edit an audition. Non-grads: $350. AOVA workshop grads $250. San Diego Advanced VO - 3rd Thursday:
All classes held 6:30-9:30 on the 3rd Thursday
You must be a graduate of one of our workshops, or audition to attend.

You may pre-register for a class at any time by sending a $100 non-refundable deposit. The above dates are subject to change without notice. A Wednesday evening 8-week workshop may be added at any time.
