Here’s what you’re up against . . .
Learning the skills for working as a voice artist can be a real challenge!
You know you want to learn about how to break into the business of voiceover . . . but you haven’t got the slightest idea where—or how—to start. Your day job limits the time you have available for taking classes; your evenings are busy just keeping up with things you need to do; weekends are about the only time you have to spend with your family; and the cost of specialized training . . . let alone traveling to an out-of-state workshop . . . might simply be more than you can afford right now.
But you also know you need to learn what the voiceover business is all about . . . and you know you need to learn the performing skills that will enable you to do what you want to do.
How will you find the time and money to learn what you need to know, to practice your performing skills, and set up a business doing the kind of work you know you are meant to do?
Well . . . we wondered about that too! So we sat down and took a good long look at what we consider to be the essential training needed to break in to the business of voiceover. In fact, we spent more than a year working on what we believe is one of the best . . . and most affordable . . . training programs for voiceover talent of all levels.
You must understand that Voiceover work is not for everyone and that mastering the performing and business skills will take more than just one workshop or tele-seminar.
Our Tele-Coaching programs and workshops are designed to be a starting point for you to get some basic performance training and a basic understanding of how this business works. We’ll tell you right up front that after taking our 8-week Tele-Course, you will NOT be ready to produce your demo or begin marketing yourself as voice talent. If you’re looking for immediate gratification or a “fast-track” to breaking into voiceover, you won’t find it here.
If you truly want to learn the craft and business of voiceover, we’ll encourage you to follow your dream. But we promise we won’t “pump you up” with a lot of hype that just makes you feel good. That’s not what voiceover work is all about.
What you WILL get from our Tele-Course and workshops is a strong foundation in how this business REALLY WORKS. Our goal is to give you personalized coaching and training that you can use to develop your skills.
If you’re just getting started, you’ll learn the fundamental performing skills necessary for today’s voiceover market. If you’re already working as voice talent, you’ll learn how to take your business to the next level. And if you’re an experienced professional, you’ll be able to share your knowledge with those following your path.
You’ve got the challenge . . . We’ve got your solution . . .
After each of our workshops we ask for feedback and comments, and we’ve taken suggestions from our former students to create three completely unique and different programs as part of our Art of Voice Acting Tele-course.
Now, you can learn voice-acting and performing techniques from the comfort of your own home—from not just one . . . but two of the top voiceover coaches in the US: James Alburger and Penny Abshire. We call it The Art of Voice Acting Tele-course. The Tele-course is based on James Alburger’s book The Art of Voice Acting, and all it takes is a simple phone call to the special number you receive when you register. And the best part is, the cost of each of our tele-course programs is less than half the tuition of our live 8-week and weekend workshops, and a lotless than other voiceover teleseminars you might have looked into.
Each program covers different material and is designed to take you to a higher level of proficiency in both the craft and business of voiceover. You can subscribe to just one level or all three - it’s your choice. Click on the links below to learn more about each part of this course.
- Level 1—The Art of Voice Acting Tele-course - 8 weeks
- Level 2—Personalized Tele-coaching
You’ll find a complete description of each program, the tuition, and instructions on how to register. If you have any questions, we’ll be happy to answer them if you call us M-F between 9am & 5pm Pacific Time, or click here send an e-mail to: info@voiceacting.com.
