Your room acoustics will be a major factor in the overall  quality of your recordings. The acoustic products on this page will do an excellent  job of killing reflected sounds, reverberation, echoes, and even help reduce noise from entering your room.

VocalBoothToGo_LOGOIf you’re looking to acoustically treat a large area on a limited budget, we highly recommend the Producer’s Choice Sound Blankets. Sound blankets are easier to work with than foam, provide similar (or better) results, and are less expensive. We don’t sell these through this site (yet!), but you can get them through VocalBoothToGo.com. These sound blankets were designed specifically for the film industry and offer black/white sides, two different sizes (the oversized blanket will cover an entire wall floor to ceiling), and can even include grommets, making them very easy to hang. The Vocal Booth To Go website has a variety of options including portable, free-standing, and hanging vocal booths. Click here for a list of videos that demonstrate the Vocal Booth To Go product line.

All Vocal Booth To Go products use their Producer’s Choice Sound Blankets.

Auralex 4

Auralex 4" Pyramid Foam 6-Pack Red

4" Studiofoam Pyramids are recommended for larger spaces, rooms with pronounced low frequency problems, or where sonic accuracy is mandatory and stronger acoustic absorption is required.Having 4 sides exposed on each pyramid also yields more sound wave diffusion, which is desirable in some spaces. Thus, 4" acoustic Studiofoam Pyramids will yield less overall dryness than 4" Studiofoam Wedges.

 Sound Diffuser

Auralex Studiofoam T Fusor Sound Diffuser

The Auralex Studiofoam T'Fusor Sound Diffuser is made from a lightweight-yet-sturdy high-impact thermoplastic. T'Fusors beat the performance of competing sound diffusors hands-down and offer massive cost-savings to boot! Auralex T'Fusors drop easily into ceiling grids and are wall-mountable with pushpins, staples, nails, Tubetak, Velcro, or 2-sided tape. They're white in color but may be easily painted by brush or spray. T'Fusors sound tiles impart a sense of controlled spaciousness and work best when mounted with a varying alignment of the T pattern. Improved broadband diffusion can be achieved by filling the cavity designed into the back of the T'Fusor sound diffuser with acoustic foam or 1" rigid fiberglass.
